In between yelling at the will-call attendant and unsuccessfully phoning the friend, the woman asked me why I didn't just buy another pair of tickets. Frustrated, I shouted at her "Because I don't have any money!" The will-call attendant succumbed to pity and gave us a pair of tickets in the worst part of the stadium, so we got to at least hear the show.
